This article in the Jerusalem Post highlights how our featured temi Personal Robot is helping fight the coronavirus.
The company added “special accessories, including a thermometer to check people’s temperature and a tray to carry food and drink to patients under quarantine. Temi also allows patients to communicate with loved ones”.
temi has already been successfully marketed to hospitals, particularly in Asia, allowing video patient visits by doctors.
The temi robots are also being employed in some offices to check the temperature of arriving employees. If there is a problem they are directed to a doctor.
Other robots are being used to disinfect potentially contaminated spaces, particularly in hospitals and airplane cabins.
The CMO of the company that makes temi suggests that the robots could also be used to provide long waiting healthcare patients and visitors relevant information when the doctor is not available.
